Hopefully this works this time.
It's pretty big, but hopefully not as unGodly huge as the last time I tried to upload this. Anyways got bored the other day so I decied to ink an older sketch and make a tutorial out of it because inking is the thing I hate the most. So hopefully someone will get some use out of this. To utilize this tutorial it's best to have photoshop 7 or higer and ever lower then that. Just photoshop elements wont work because I don't think that one has a pen tool with it. This tutorial may be useful for paint shop too just not sure how much since they are pretty different programs. This is just my way of inking, there are multiple ways to do this and different ways to rasterize the vector lines. You can also use other brushes then the calligraphic brushes or a different size. I just prefer the 10 pixel size calligraphic brush because I like the nice thick varrying lines it leaves. Don't use this as a set of rules, use it more as a set of guide lines to create your own ways and style of inking. And sorry for any misspellings :S, photshop needs a spell check next time X|. EDIT: Wow! I can't believed this old thing is still viewed and used by people with all it's crappy spelling mistakes and general crapyness. Thanks you though. Hmm I guess myabe I should update this thing with my new style of inking. No promises though. |
